Call for papers

The programme of the 24th Cartographic School 2018 on "Unmanned aerial vehicles in Earth and environmental sciences" includes the following elements:

  • five oral sessions (open for participants – contributed talks),
  • extended poster session (open for participants – contributed posters),
  • one workshop in computer lab (led by the organizers).

We welcome you to submit your abstracts of papers to be presented as contributed oral or poster presentations. Oral presentations should be planned as 15-minute talks, whereas posters shall be discussed during a proper poster session. The abstracts should be informative and concise (max. 300 words), and both objectives and hypotheses ought to be clearly stated. The submission should be done before 15 July 2018 along with on-line registration form. When submitting the abstract, please make sure that you:

  • provide a full title,
  • provide first names and surnames of all authors,
  • provide authors’ affiliations,
  • provide abstract itself,
  • specify your preference as to whether you wish to give a talk or to display a poster,
  • specify the name of a presenter.

Each submitted abstract will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Organizing Committee, and accepted contributors will be notified by 31 July 2018. The Scientific Organizing Committee will be also responsible for classifying the accepted abstracts to specific sessions.
